At Xell India, we believe that the strength of our company lies in the people who carry its vision forward. That is why we are launching one of the most ambitious programs in the country — appointing one Business Development Manager (BDM) in every city of India. Each BDM will become the backbone of our operations, directly responsible for managing and expanding Xell India’s business in their own city.
This position is not just a job; it is a complete entrepreneurial journey backed by the company. We provide a solid foundation of salary, resources, staff, and technology so that our BDMs can focus entirely on achieving business growth.
The salary for a BDM begins at ₹90,000 per month and can rise as high as ₹3,50,000 per month, depending on performance, scale, and experience. Along with this, every BDM is empowered to hire Assistant Managers under them, build their own team, and gradually establish a city-wide business ecosystem under the Xell India umbrella.
The primary responsibility of a BDM is to manage the complete Xell India business in their city. The company will provide a clear monthly target of successful handovers based on the size and potential of the city. The BDM’s role will involve collecting unused or idle products from households, shops, and factories — referred to as givers — and listing them on the company’s platform. Givers will be guided and encouraged to contribute, with the BDM explaining the benefits of participation and ensuring smooth product collection.
Once the products are listed, the company’s automated systems will ensure that the details are visible to interested buyers. The buyer-giver connection is fully managed by Xell’s technology, while the BDM is responsible for verifying transactions, preventing fraud, and making sure that both givers and buyers have a seamless experience.
The company will provide infrastructure support, including internet, warehouse space, uniforms, tools, and product stamps, ensuring that the BDM and their team have everything required to operate efficiently.
BDMs have the authority to onboard unlimited sellers in their city free of charge. This creates a powerful network effect where every seller’s successful handovers contribute to the BDM’s overall target achievement.
By onboarding multiple sellers, BDMs can exponentially increase their handover numbers without personally handling every transaction. Each seller becomes an extension of the BDM’s operations.
All handovers completed by onboarded sellers count toward the BDM’s monthly targets. This creates a scalable system where BDMs can achieve higher targets through effective network management.
While sellers receive their earnings from completed transactions, BDMs receive their fixed salary based on overall target achievement. This creates a win-win situation for both parties.
Xell India provides comprehensive travel expense reimbursement to all BDMs based on actual kilometers traveled for business purposes. This ensures that BDMs can focus on expanding their operations without worrying about transportation costs.
The BDM role is designed for strategic management rather than direct handover execution. BDMs are not required to personally handle product handovers unless they choose to do so.
Aspect | BDM Responsibility | Seller Responsibility |
---|---|---|
Product Listing | Oversee and manage the process | Directly list products on platform |
Handover Execution | Not required (optional) | Primary responsibility |
Target Counting | All handovers count toward BDM target | Individual handovers count toward personal earnings |
Earnings | Fixed salary based on target achievement | Transaction-based earnings |
BDMs receive their salary based on the total handovers in their city, including those completed by their onboarded sellers. However, BDMs do not receive earnings from the partner program – their compensation comes exclusively from their fixed salary, which increases based on performance milestones.
This is the initial stage where the candidate must prove their ability. Within 30 days, the BDM must successfully achieve at least 1,000 handovers. This stage determines the candidate’s capability to understand the model, interact with givers and buyers, and achieve targets based on actual completed transactions.
Seller Onboarding: During this stage, BDMs can begin building their seller network to help achieve targets.
After passing the trial, the company formally hires the BDM through a complete legal process. From this stage, the BDM receives a personal office, dedicated staff, and warehouse facilities in their city. Salary and staff support begin here, along with reimbursement of travel expenses based on the city’s size and square-kilometer coverage. The BDM will be expected to achieve 3,000-5,000 handovers per month at this stage.
Expanded Network: BDMs can now onboard unlimited sellers to scale operations efficiently.
At this stage, the BDM’s role expands significantly. They begin managing larger transaction volumes and may handle up to 10,000 handovers per month, scaling toward 50,000 handovers per month. Travel expenses, staff salaries, warehouse rent, and other basic requirements are covered by the company. The BDM will also be responsible for directly supervising Assistant Managers and expanding their city operations.
Network Management: Focus shifts to managing and optimizing the seller network for maximum efficiency.
The final stage is revealed only once a BDM successfully completes Stage 3. It involves a much higher level of responsibility, advanced incentives, and greater leadership opportunities within the company. BDMs at this stage typically manage over 100,000 handovers per month across their city operations.
Strategic Leadership: BDMs become regional leaders with expanded responsibilities beyond their original city.
Unlike traditional corporate positions, this role is city-centric, growth-driven, and entrepreneurial in nature. There will be only one BDM per city, which means the position carries both exclusive authority and responsibility. With each city becoming its own business unit, the BDM will have complete control over operations while enjoying full backing from the company in terms of infrastructure and technology.
This system allows rapid scalability, ensures that local business is handled by local people, and creates strong accountability. The company guarantees that the salary will always be higher than the responsibilities given, making this one of the most rewarding professional journeys in the market.
The model is simple yet powerful. Every household, shop, or factory has unused items lying idle — clothes, shoes, electronics, furniture, or other goods. The BDM and their team collect these items from givers and list them on the platform. Buyers can then request these items directly, and the system connects them automatically.
This process is fully supported by Xell India’s technology and ensures a transparent, fraud-free experience for both givers and buyers. Over time, the BDM creates a city-wide cycle of collection and redistribution, turning unused resources into valuable commodities.
Every BDM receives a detailed prototype and roadmap that clearly explains how to move from 1,000 handovers per month to over 100,000 handovers per month. With clear targets, structured stages, and company support, the path to success is already laid out.
This is not just a corporate role; it is an opportunity to own and manage the business of an entire city under the banner of Xell India. With high payouts, exclusive city ownership, company support, and a proven business model, the BDM program is set to become one of the most prestigious and impactful positions in the country.
